A Three Week Online Retreat with Isaac Shapiro
ÒOpening to the Yum in the YukÓ
Within the hard to eat experiences of human living, there lies within each one, a priceless, precious, deliciousness. A constant yum in the midst of the coming and going ÒyukÓ that comes with the great adventure of this human life.
Join us in January for a three week online retreat with Isaac Shapiro.
You’re invited to join Isaac and a sincere and dedicated community of people from around the world to inquire into how we live our lives moment by moment; and how to better align ourselves with our deepest spiritual truths. Through direct but good-humored questioning weÕll unravel the conditioning of the mind and the nervous system revealing deeper intimacy and connection in the moment. Thus allowing ourselves the opportunity to know what is truly blissful even amidst the discomfort and challenges of everyday human life.
ÒThis is an invitation to recognize the Truth of yourself. Who you are, and have always been.
As you are already This, there is no need for any effort or “getting there”, just the simple recognition of That in which everything appears. As we bring awareness to unconscious habits, there is a shift that occurs. In the course of investigation, we spontaneously recognize the true nature of ourselves. To live like this is an expression of unconditional love in which there is a savoring of this moment`s experience as the beloved.Ó
~ Isaac Shapiro
Isaac Shapiro is an internationally known facilitator, fascinated with life lived in alignment with the world’s wisdom traditions. He enjoys exploring and assisting those who share this interest.
How do we live our lives moment by moment? This enquiry considers how we relate to ourselves and to others, how we parent, do business and interact with our environment.
His approach is to ask questions and make statements. He asks participants in his meetings to question and see if what he says is true in their own being. This approach points to what is already known, but obscured in the ways our nervous system and our thinking function.
Isaac draws on a broad spectrum of understanding, from neurophysiology to some of the latest discoveries in Quantum physics which he applies in a light hearted but direct way.
This online retreat format is an exciting container that allows for deeper work with the consistency and support of a teacher and community — without the normal cost and logistics of leaving your life that an on location retreat entails. It also provides the unique opportunity to be opening and exploring deeply while still living your daily life. This advantageous aspect of the format, presents an occasion to experience a smoother integration between deep inner work and daily living and being able to work immediately with what is freshly arising while living daily life.
This January Three Week Online Retreat will consist of:
- Six 2 hour Satsang Meetings
- Two small group supportive meetings with fellow participants
- Recorded live guided meditations to work with during week and beyond
- Access to recordings of all six Satsang gatherings
After registration you will have the opportunity to write in questions to Isaac in advance, as well as sign up to join a small group that will meet twice during the course.
