Bruce Pardoe ~ Heart Fluency¨ – Establish A Non-Dual Contemplative Practice: Daylong Retreat

Embody and live your freedom. Learn to use Heart FluencyÕs highly accessible non-dual method as the basis of a meditation practice to experience and consolidate your ordinary awakened nature as your default orientation to life. This seven-hour retreat includes sitting and walking meditation, as well as straightforward teachings that will enable you to feel through your direct embodied and mental experience to the liberated, healing nature of pure awareness. Discover how a contemplative practice can cultivate a lasting, free relationship to reality that opens you to ÒflowÓ, and what is called ÒsuchnessÓ in Zen practice. As we deepen through the day we feel how awareness can heal our deepest wounds. This is a transformative, yet simple and affirming day of wondrous presence.

There will be 1 hour lunch break around noon.

For more than 40 years Bruce Pardoe has been navigating and facilitating the path of inner healing and non-dual wisdom. BruceÕs journey healing his own complex trauma led him to develop the radically gentle Heart Fluency¨ method for engaging emotional wounds and afflictive patterns as portals to directly embodying non-dual well-being and happiness. Heart Fluency combines neuroscience and the unconditional nourishment of pure awareness in a highly accessible, heart-centered approach.

After spending over two years on silent retreat, Bruce became a meditation teacher in the Vipassana tradition of Buddhism. He has completed Spirit Rock Meditation CenterÕs two-year Dharma Leader training, and has studied extensively in Asia in the traditions of Tibetan Buddhism and Advaita. Bruce has also trained in Polyvagal Theory, Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement and HakomiÕs body-centered psychotherapy. Since 2007 Bruce has shared Heart Fluency trainings and workshops with conscious individuals, therapists and healers on four continents.

Bruce Pardoe has developed a very effective therapeutic and awakening process called Heart Fluency based in Buddhist and non-dual wisdom as well as body-mind healing modalities. I have experienced his work, and I highly recommend him!

We offer our events by donation or sliding scale with scholarships available to make them as accessible as possible. We still however have many expenses to pay and therefore we ask that you contribute as much as you can comfortably afford for an event. Most of the funds are paid directly to the teacher. The remainder goes towards Open Circle’s expenses so that we can keep our platform in operation. Your generosity also helps cover any scholarships we offer to those unable to pay within the sliding scale.
