Ramachandra Roddam ~ Deity Worship as Spiritual Practice (In-Person & Livestream)

A beautiful opportunity to step into the world and learn about some basic methods of Worship and Sadhana, from an authentic voice and practitioner.

Sri Ramachandra Roddam is a sadhak on the path of Shakta Tantra and a teacher of the path of the Bauls. The Bauls are a traditional sect from northeastern India who often defy societal conventions and who seek a direct connection with the divine through ecstatic singing, music and dance. Sri Ramachandra is a trustee of Sanatan Siddhashram, a center in West Bengal founded by the internationally acclaimed Baul dancer and teacher, Maa Parvathy Baul. This center is dedicated to the practice of the ancient Baul tradition and propagation of its philosophy, conducting courses in deity worship, yoga, and meditation. Sri Ramachandra is also the author of the book Devi Bhakti Tarangani, an English-language book of devotional poetry dedicated to the Divine Mother, which has been translated into Hungarian and French.

We offer our events by donation or sliding scale with scholarships available to make them as accessible as possible. We still however have many expenses to pay and therefore we ask that you contribute as much as you can comfortably afford for an event. Most of the funds are paid directly to the teacher. The remainder goes towards Open Circle’s expenses so that we can keep our platform in operation. Your generosity also helps cover any scholarships we offer to those unable to pay within the sliding scale.
