Open Circle Events:

Susanne Marie ~ Awakening to Connection: Why Belonging Matters (In-Person Event)

Please check your time!

Daylight Savings Time ends at 2 am Nov. 2nd.. Set your clocks back 1 hour!

Join Susanne and community: At the heart of being human lies a deep longing to belong, to one another, to Spirit, to the Earth, and to ourselves. True wholeness arises when we honor both our inner autonomy and our connection to the greater web of life. Without a felt sense of belonging, we can become isolated, untethered, and alone.

In this gathering, weÕll explore what it truly means to come home within ourselves, in relationship with others, and as part of something larger. ItÕs a journey of remembering our place in the human family and the living world. As we recognize our deep interconnection, we open to the care and compassion that naturally arise, the essence of a full-circle spiritual awakening.

Susanne Marie: Featured in conversation with Adyashanti on Buddha at the Gas Pump as well as on Conscious TV, Susanne Marie offers integrated teachings in support of freedom, and the celebration of our common essence of love and unity with all life. Susanne, who lives in Northern California, is the parent of two young adults. As a natural empath, her teaching style is heart-centered and practical, whose focus is on supporting you in your unique awakening journey. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Susanne leads in-person retreats, online courses, a monthly online meeting, and mentors individuals privately.

It’s part of our core values to make our events as accessible as possible. If you are not able to pay within the sliding scale, we’d still like to make it possible for you to join by offering a partial scholarship. Please contact us on web@opencirclecenter.org to request a scholarship.
We offer our events by donation or sliding scale with scholarships available to make them as accessible as possible. We still however have many expenses to pay and therefore we ask that you contribute as much as you can comfortably afford for an event. Most of the funds are paid directly to the teacher. The remainder goes towards Open Circle’s expenses so that we can keep our platform in operation. Your generosity also helps cover any scholarships we offer to those unable to pay within the sliding scale.

You’ll find an overview of the nature of our events, including the common types and formats, in our About Events page.
Most events consist of a guided or silent meditation, a talk by the teacher, and time for questions and sharing. There may be other practices such as somatic exercises, movement practice, dyads, etc. Each teacher chooses the format freely according to what they feel supports their message best, so formats may vary.
