Open Circle Events:

Gail Brenner, Ph.D. ~ Coming Home Together: The Sacred Work of Trauma and Awakening

You are most welcome to join…just as you are…as we create a safe and supportive space together to explore the deeper work that unfolds on the path of awakening.

Come with your fears, doubts, shame, and questionsÑand simply to share sacred space together in community with like-minded friends. Our time together will include guided meditation, clarifying teachings, practical tools, and heartfelt conversation.

A seed starts growing in us when we realize how much our conditioned patterns mask our happiness. Many of these patterns have plagued us for years. We hear about freedom as a possibility, but we just donÕt know how to find our way there. We feel stuck in the painful sense of separationÉfrom ourselves and the sacredness of all of Life.

Finally, we realize that we can’t go it alone. Our disconnection from our divine nature happened in the context of relationship so we need to practice togetherÑin a supportive and loving communityÑto find our way home.

Together, we lovingly embrace our humanness as we expand into overflowing appreciation, vibrant joy, and deep connection with all of Life.

Gail Brenner, Ph.D. is your guide on this journey. She is a clinical psychologist and lover of truth with a fire that burns brightly. She brings to this work years of experience with individuals and groups and is known for creating the sense of safety and trust needed for this deeper exploration.

ÒI appreciated GailÕs ability to guide us in areas that are difficult to even put words to, as well as her ability to transmit such presence and lovingkindness. Somehow she was able to guide me around the resistance(s) to a more loving acceptance of what is. Gail is able to transform through her presence and I think anyone open to healing would benefit.Ó

It’s part of our core values to make our events as accessible as possible. If you are not able to pay within the sliding scale, we’d still like to make it possible for you to join by offering a partial scholarship. Please contact us on web@opencirclecenter.org to request a scholarship.
We offer our events by donation or sliding scale with scholarships available to make them as accessible as possible. We still however have many expenses to pay and therefore we ask that you contribute as much as you can comfortably afford for an event. Most of the funds are paid directly to the teacher. The remainder goes towards Open Circle’s expenses so that we can keep our platform in operation. Your generosity also helps cover any scholarships we offer to those unable to pay within the sliding scale.

You’ll find an overview of the nature of our events, including the common types and formats, in our About Events page.
Most events consist of a guided or silent meditation, a talk by the teacher, and time for questions and sharing. There may be other practices such as somatic exercises, movement practice, dyads, etc. Each teacher chooses the format freely according to what they feel supports their message best, so formats may vary.
