Open Circle Events:

Roger Castillo ~ Uncovering Peace of Mind in Daily Living

A non-residential weekend satsang intensive in Berkeley, July 28th – 30th

Co-sponsored by Open Circle Center and The Open Way

Roger Castillo is a nondual teacher who is visiting California for the first time from his home base in the secluded hills outside of Perth, western Australia. Following in the footsteps of his primary teacher Ramesh Balsekar (who was a direct disciple of Nisargadatta Maharaj), Roger emphasizes that everything is just ÒhappeningÓ and is not’ Òmy doingÓ, and that everything is unfolding exactly as it is meant to, according to the divine plan. This insight points to the radical nature of the impersonal I Am, and the underlying oneness of life, and flowers into an experiential way of being that infuses our daily life with an unbroken sense of peace of mind, love and contentment. Roger holds satsang around the world, speaking from his own direct experience, and inviting others into the direct knowing that leads to peace of mind in day-to-day living.

This is a journey beyond the words. Rest in the heart, in the ground of your being. There you are, at peace. The words are all pointing to this.

ÒFreedom for the human is liberation from beliefs. Often in life, because beliefs are not seen for what they are, we just exchange one set of beliefs for another, thinking that freedom will be found in our new beliefs. Beliefs cease to exist completely when it becomes fundamentally seen and known that there is only one Truth in life, the impersonal sense of I AM, which is ever present and unchanging. That which changes isnÕt Truth; that which changes is not real. What we are is real.Ó

Our online events are always recorded and the recording is sent to all registrants via email within a week, usually sooner. The recordings remain available for at least 1 year. We also occasionally record and/or livestream our in-person events. If that’s the case, you’ll find it noted on the given in-person event page.
It’s part of our core values to make our events as accessible as possible. If you are not able to pay within the sliding scale, we’d still like to make it possible for you to join by offering a partial scholarship. Please contact us on web@opencirclecenter.org to request a scholarship.
We offer our events by donation or sliding scale with scholarships available to make them as accessible as possible. We still however have many expenses to pay and therefore we ask that you contribute as much as you can comfortably afford for an event. Most of the funds are paid directly to the teacher. The remainder goes towards Open Circle’s expenses so that we can keep our platform in operation. Your generosity also helps cover any scholarships we offer to those unable to pay within the sliding scale.
