Arian Mateo
Arian Mateo is a psychologist, non-dual teacher and facilitator.
His teaching bridges deep spiritual realization with psychological integration and lived human experience, and is grounded in direct realization rather than belief systems. It has been shaped by over fifteen years of intensive inquiry, meditation, and embodiment work.
Mateo’s path included extended periods of destabilization and integration, often described as the dark night of the soul, alongside long retreats, sustained inquiry, and direct exploration of many “non-ordinary states” of consciousness. Over time, these experiences resolved into a clear recognition of the ordinary, natural state, simple, immediate, and already present, rather than something separate or exceptional.
This lived integration informs a grounded, trauma-aware approach that welcomes the full range of human experience without bypassing or suppression. His work integrates non-dual realization with contemporary psychology, somatic awareness, attachment theory, and nervous system regulation.
In his meetings and teachings, silence, inquiry, dialogue, and reflection are woven together organically. Participants are invited into a space where nothing needs to be achieved, yet profound shifts in orientation often occur.
Mateo’s teaching is marked by clarity, directness, humor, and warmth, with an emphasis on radical freedom across all dimensions of life. He does not offer a path to become someone else or to realize exotic states of “enlightenment”, but offers an invitation to rest as what you already are, and to allow life to integrate itself from there.
